The MEC Mister system was first installed for cooling and humidifying all stages of have more breaks and more shoots. Our rose production has increased by at least 10% and maybe as much as 20%, also, 98% less mildew problems! Our business eliminated all of our pads and fans and now rely totally on fog for all of our cooling and humidifying needs. The energy savings have been significant. We eliminated 100 fan motors and replaced them with only 3 system motors.

We also save 35 to 40% bench space using the Mister system.

The Mist System purchased from MEC Systems has worked out great. It has substantially decreased the amount airborne dust at our Sawmill and has made it a much healthier environment for our workers. After being faced with the pine beetle epidemic we were forced to deal with a much dryer fiber supply therefore a lot more dust. This mist system has allowed us to better cope with this issue and has become a key part of our day to day operations.

Our company recently received a contract to refurbish the Governor General of Canada greenhouses, located at Sussex Dr. Ottawa Ontario Canada. We installed the Mister system more than a year ago for humidification and cooling on 110,000 sq ft of rose production.
