Our company recently received a contract to refurbish the Governor General of Canada greenhouses, located at Sussex Dr. Ottawa Ontario Canada. MEC SYSTEMS INC. worked on our behalf to prepare shop drawings for the fog system and its design. We were able to install with ease as per the layout drawings provided. Startup of the system was easy with no problems. It has held the humidity set points with no problems for 4 months that we monitored the computer print outs. We would not hesitate to call on MEC SYSTEMS again for another project.

It is difficult to compare the MEC system to anything else on the market. The system gives superior cooling for plants, and the automatic controls are fantastically versatile. We save labor using the system because much less watering is required. We’ve just produced our best crop ever. We don’t have to move plant material out of the propagation area.

At any given time our poultry farm has in excess of 10,000 chickens and two issues we have faced over the years is barn dust and odour. The MEC System has been effective in reducing barn dust and the most important concern, odour. My brother owns a pig farm and is impressed with the major reduction in odour in his barns. The MEC Mister system was first installed for cooling and humidifying all stages of have more breaks and more shoots. Our rose production has increased by at least 10% and maybe as much as 20%, also, 98% less mildew problems! Our business eliminated all of our pads and fans and now rely totally on fog for all of our cooling and humidifying needs. The energy savings have been significant. We eliminated 100 fan motors and replaced them with only 3 system motors.
